Bloemfontein is the first Free State city on the map, and coverage is the whole of Mangaung rather than the old city limits: Bloemfontein itself, Botshabelo and Thaba Nchu out along the N8, and Dewetsdorp, Wepener and Van Stadensrus in the south-east. The N1 skirts the city to the west, and most trips between the suburbs, the city centre and the airport cross a handful of arterials: Nelson Mandela Drive, Curie Avenue and Alexandra Avenue.
