East London was added in October 2026, and coverage is the whole Buffalo City metro: the city centre, Quigney and Southernwood, the suburbs from Vincent and Berea out to Beacon Bay and Gonubie, Mdantsane, Qonce (King William's Town) with Bhisho, Zwelitsha and Dimbaza, Berlin, and the coast from Kidd's Beach to Gonubie. Every area and main road is rated against SAPS figures for the police stations that serve it, and checked a second time.

    The N2 through the metro and the N6 are checked roads with no risk penalty, so a trip that only needs to get past East London can stay on them.

    Parts of the R102, the R346 and the R63, and city roads such as Settlers Way and the North East Expressway, are rated medium risk. The R72 along the coast is marked for caution. The route card names any rated stretch a route uses.
