Lower-risk driving routes in Mthatha

Mthatha was added in November 2026 as one of the festive-season towns. Coverage is the King Sabata Dalindyebo municipality: Mthatha and its suburbs, the airport, Mqanduli and the villages, and the Wild Coast at Coffee Bay and Hole in the Wall. Every area and main road is rated against SAPS figures for the police stations that serve it and against local news reports, and checked a second time.
