Lower-risk driving routes in Polokwane

Polokwane was added in October 2026 and is the first Limpopo city on the map. Coverage is the whole municipality: the city centre and suburbs, Seshego, Mankweng and Turfloop, Sebayeng, and the Moletjie, Matlala and Aganang villages. Every area and main road is rated against SAPS figures for the police stations that serve it, and checked a second time.

    The N1 round the city, the R37 and the N11 are checked roads with no risk penalty, so a trip through Polokwane on the N1 can stay on it.

    The R71 to Mankweng is rated stretch by stretch: some of it carries no penalty and some is rated medium risk. The route card shows which stretches a route uses.
